The Frontier Pioneer School (TFPS), a vibrant and fast-growing educational institution in Kericho County, is expanding its exceptional team. Currently offering Crèche, Playgroup, PP1, PP2, and Grades 1 to 5, we are thrilled to introduce Grade 6 in January 2026.
To support this growth, we are seeking passionate, skilled, and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic Frontier Team in the following positions:
- Upper Primary Teachers – 2 Positions
- Lower Primary Teacher – 2 Positions
- Pre-Primary Assistant Teachers – 2 Positions
- Music Teacher & School Band Trainer – 1 Position
- Coding & Robotics Teacher – 1 Position
- Chef – 1 Position
About the Roles & Key Responsibilities (Teaching Positions)
- Work closely with the School Director and Founding Head Teacher to implement the CBE curriculum, including the preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching strategies.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, and academic growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress through daily and termly evaluations, offering constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Promote inclusivity, equality, and respect for all students regardless of gender, background, or ability.
- Maintain open, professional, and supportive communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
Ideal Candidate Profiles
Upper Primary Teachers
- P1 Teacher with at least 5 years of experience.
- Degree and CBE Upgrade will be an added advantage.
Lower Primary & Pre-Primary Assistant Teachers
- ECD Teacher with at least 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
Music Teacher & School Band Trainer
- Experience working in school settings and proficiency in handling vocals & various band instruments.
Coding & Robotics Teacher
- Diploma/Degree in IT or a related field.
- Knowledge of coding and robotics platforms, including use of learning equipment.
- Experience with international curriculum will be an added advantage.
Chef
- Diploma/Degree in Catering or a related field.
- Experience working in a school or institutional environment.
For Teaching Positions:
- Registration with TSC is mandatory.
- Familiarity with the CBE curriculum is required.
- Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Passion for contributing to a vibrant school culture and readiness to thrive in a fast-paced educational environment.
